Core Buddhist Meditation

EVERY MON |19:00 - 20:30pm

Suggested donation £10

There are many different kind of meditation in Buddhism but all of them have at their core a clear set of practices designed to enhance our ability to pay sustained attention to whatever is beneficial for our personal path in Buddhism with clarity, stability, benevolence and focus. Also important is setting a beneficial motivation for practice at the beginning and dedication of our practice at the end of the session.
Please come along and join the Monday evening team to learn and practice techniques that enhance these key skills that lie at the core of Buddhist meditation.

10, 17, 24 September, 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 October, 5, 12, 19, 26 November, 3 December

Dharma teachings run on a 'Generosity model', completely on voluntary donations. By donating you will help create the conditions for the teachings to be available, the meals to be served, accommodations to be clean, for the doors to be open and the lights on. Therefore people of any faith or background are welcome.
Suitable for getting started with Buddhist study and for those who want to refresh their understanding.
Booking is not mandatory but highly recommended it because Jamyang can give you a better service
