This evening talk with Buddhist psychotherapist and author Dr. Miles Neale explores how industrialized civilization is on the verge of collapse due to what he calls a ‘sickness of paradigm’.

Through meditation and discussion on his new book Gradual Awakening, explore how a new worldview based on the integration of science and spirit, wisdom and compassion, can help us all become more fully human and optimally transform the world in an interconnected age.

 

/About the speaker

Dr. Miles Neale is among the leading voices in the current generation of Buddhist teachers and a forerunner in the emerging field of contemplative psychotherapy. He is a Buddhist psychotherapist in private practice based in New York City, Assistant Director of the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science and faculty member of the Tibet House, US and Weill Cornel Medical College.

Dr. Neale is co-editor and contributor to the groundbreaking volume Advances in Contemplative Psychotherapy: Accelerated Healing and Transformation (Routledge, 2017) and author of Gradual Awakening: The Tibetan Buddhist Path of Becoming Fully Human (Sounds True, 2018).
