About Jamyang
Jamyang is a centre for meditation and the study of Tibetan Buddhism in the heart of London. Since its establishment in 1978, our main aims are to provide Buddhist teachings to everyone interested, and to develop local community services.

Geshe TashiOur resident teacher is Geshe Tashi Tsering, who studied for his  Geshe degree (the equivalent of a PhD) at Sera-mey Monastic University in South India, qualifying at the highest Lharampa level. He teaches in English and is well-known for his warmth and practical approach to modern-day life.

Our programme provides for beginners with classes such as meditation and basic introduction to buddhism, some classes are suitable for everyone, and more advanced students have the opportunities to practise with our tantra practice groups.

AMBy reflecting on on our impending death, we can live our lives more fully now.  Then, when the time of death comes, we can die without regret and peacefully transition to our next life.  Join us as we explore the process of death and rebirth and how they can inspire us to lead more meaningful lives. Also, learn techniques and practices to help both yourself and others at the time of death.
