This one night taster is designed to introduce the essentials of meditation.  The core techniques of meditation are not bound up with religious belief systems.  They can be taken up by anyone without having to buy in to the particular religion they appear in.

So if you have ever wondered whether meditation might work for you or just wanted to try it out why not come along to this introductory evening

Roy has many years of experience as a meditator and a lot of experience presenting meditation to beginners

Buddhist Meditation: Insight

With Roy Sutherwood and Gerry Cummins
Mondays 14, 21, 28 May, 4, 11, 18, 25 June, 2, 9 July
7.30 - 9pm
Suggested donation £5

There a number of Buddhist mediation techniques designed to help the meditator see past the superficial chop and change of life and to notice more fundamental patterns to experience and to notice more subtle aspects of awareness.

Roy and Gerry will use these drop in evenings (that can also be taken as a course) to present and explore a variety of these techniques so that participants can explore them and share their experience of them in a safe respectful environment.

Buddhist wisdom is traditionally described as that part of Buddhist understanding that sets you free from the tyranny of ignorance, clinging and anger.  Come taste a little liberation.
